PACE Session Not Include Issues on Azerbaijan: PACE President

France, Baku /corr. Trend A.Maharramli / The President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), Rene Van Der Linden, said on 1 October in Strasburg that the agenda of the PACE autumn session does not include any issue regarding the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Speaking of the agenda of the session, the PACE Head condemned the recent terror act in Turkey's province of Shirnak and said that the terror act has directed against the democracy and security in the region. He highlighted the significance of discussing this issue at the plenary meetings.

Linden refuted the information on PACE's intention to send a mission to Georgia to search the assassination of the former Prime Minister of Georgia, Zurab Jvania.

He said that this issue will be considered by the PACE on 5 October. In addition, the issue will be discussed in a meeting with the Georgian delegation. He annunced the establishment of five awards (in amount of €5000) for human rights. In addition, he expressed intention to hold day of migration and integration on 19-20 November.
