Aliyev / The Government of Azerbaijan intends to take steps for the social-economic development of the Nakchivan Autonomous Republic, said the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, on 17 October in the opening ceremony of a new building of the central hospital in Nakchivan's district of Sharur.
According to the State Head of Azerbaijan, the 2008 budget of Nakchivan will increase up to AZN 280mln. Touching upon the development of the health system in Nakchivan, the President said that special attention will be paid to this sphere in the future.
In addition, in the second half of the day, the President visited a secondary school in the Shahtakhti village of Sharur district.
