Azerbaijan, Lankaran / Trend corr. P.Aliyeva / Some 55kg of opium, 937gr -marijuana, 2kg - hashish and 6kg of heroine were revealed in Azerbaijan's south region within nine months of 2007, the Central Anti Drugs Department at the Interior Ministry of Azerbaijan reported to the Trend Agency. Twelve facts of illegal drugs smuggling felt on the Islamic Republic of Iran's citizens. Seven Iranians were detained. Forty-eight crimes were revealed within nine months of 2006. Four citizens of Iran were arrested. Some 42kg of drugs was seized.
