Azerbaijan, Salyan / Тrend corr E. Mammadov / A criminal case was filed for a driver who ignored a traffic police officer's order. In the evening of 29 October in the 25th km of Alat-Astara highway, a man driving a KAMAZ (10 ZL 823) ignored the order of a traffic police officer to stop and tried to escape after running into the police car. The police officer pursued the driver and detained him. Investigation revealed that the driver was a resident of Lerik region, Jabrayil Jabbarov. Some 10 cu m of hazel nut timber was found in his lorry.
A criminal case was filed into the incident.
