Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend S.Ilhamgizi / On 2 November the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, received Speaker of Switzerland's National Council Mrs. Christine Egerszegi-Obrist. The Swiss Speaker said she is pleased to meet Ilham Aliyev. Christine Egerszegi-Obrist said her current visit is very important to her country in terms of closer familiarization with Azerbaijan. President Ilham Aliyev remembered his meeting with Swiss President during his visit to Davos this year, and stressed they had very fruitful discussions. The Azerbaijani leader said both countries have good potential to enhance their relations in various areas.
