Azerbaijan, Kars /corr. Trend I.Gasimli / Azerbaijan's Consul General to Turkey's city of Kars, Hasan Zeynalov, said that an opening ceremony of the Education Center named after Heydar Aliyev will take place in Caucasus University in Kars on 14 November.
The opening ceremony will be attended by the representatives of Heydar Aliyev foundation and senior officials. The Center has been established through initiative and assistance of the Foundation.
According to Zeynalov, the repair works implemented by HNB Inshaat is coming to the end.
The Former President of Azerbaijan, Heydar Aliyev, was awarded the rank of Honored Doctor of the Caucasus University during his visit to Kars in 2002.
The Center will contain photos and stands reflecting life and activity of Heydar Aliyev. A library regarding the history and literature of Azerbaijan, reading room and computer center will function in the Center. According to the Consul General, the Education Center will provide an opportunity to the students of Caucasus's department of Azerbaijani literature to receive comprehensive information about Azerbaijan. Scientists invited from various higher education institutions of Baku and Nakchivan will deliver lectures here, Zeynalov said.
