Agayeva / Around six documents on development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey will be signed during the first official visit of the Turkish President Abdullah Gul to Azerbaijan, the Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Huseyn Avni Karslioglu said to journalists on 5 November.
The Turkish President is scheduled to visit from 6 to 8 November. The plan on long-term economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey, agreements between organizations engaged in family and women's problems, an agreement on cooperation in sport, and other documents are expected to be signed.
President Gul plans to pay a visit to Ganja. According to the Ambassador, this will be the Turkish President's first tour of Azerbaijani regions. No other Turkish Presidents have visited Azerbaijani regions so far.
