Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend I.Alizade / On 6 November the Azerbaijani Parliament approved a military cooperation plan with military forces with US and European Command.
MP Aydin Mirzazade, The Deputy Chairman of the permanent parliamentary commission on security and defense, said the document envisages expansion of military cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United States.
"In accordance with the action plan, the United States will assist in the upgrade of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, supply weapons and improve professional skills of military personnel. Both countries support the measures carried under NATO's Partnership for Peace Program and Individual Action Plan," he said.
