Ukraine, Kiev / corr Trend Z.Novosvitskiy / Talat Aliyev, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Ukraine, was awarded an Order of the Scientific Council of the Taras Shevchenko Kiev National University, for the establishment of firms bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine.
Victor Skopenko, the rector of the University, presented the award in a meeting of the Scientific Council on 5 November 2007.
The Ambassador said that he was pleased to accept such an award from university which is the prestigious and famous not only in Ukraine, but also worldwide. Aliyev said that at present the Azerbaijani Government three ministers at the Azerbaijani Government were graduates of this university.
