Azerbaijani Parliament Develops Statement to Recognize  Kurdistan Workers Party as Terrorist Organization

Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. I.Alizadeh / A statement by the Azerbaijani parliament concerning the recognition of the Kurdistan Workers Party as a terrorist organization has been developed, Fazail Agamali, the chairman of the Ana Vatan Party, said. Ana Vatan party was founded to develop statements to recognize the Kurdistan Workers Party as a terrorist organization.

According to Agamali, the commission planned to hold meeting on 12 November. However, the meeting was postponed due to the meeting of MPs with the Bulgarian Prime Minister, Sergey Stanishev.

"The meeting of the commission is to be held on 13 November," the MP said.

Agamali added that the project of the statement was developed by experts.

"The acceptance of the statement by the Parliament means that the government officially recognizes the Kurdistan Workers Party as a terrorist organization. Azerbaijan will take urgent measures if the Party uses Azerbaijan as a transit country," Agamali said.
