Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. I.Alizadeh / The Azerbaijani Health Ministry submitted documents of 40 illegally operating drug stores to the law enforcement bodies. The Prosecutor General's Office is currently considering the issue, Ogtay Shiraliyev, the Health Minister, said in the interview to journalists on 13 November.
"20 out of 60 illegally functioning drug stores were suspended by the Health Ministry. Documents of 40 drug stores illegally functioning in Azerbaijan were submitted to the law enforcement bodies," Shiraliyev said.
According to Shiraliyev, the Ministry recently held inspections in 526 drug stores. Some 5,700 types of drugs, which do not pass laboratory examination, were found and the Ministry seized 400 types of out of date drugs.
