Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend E.Huseynli / The Strategic Research Center at the Azerbaijani President's Administration will define the priorities of the country's domestic and foreign policy.

The Center will be involved in shaping foreign and internal policy of Azerbaijan, defining the efficiency of the measures in the country and abroad, preparation of these measures with the consideration of all factors, Ali Hassanov, the head of the Public and Political Division at the Azerbaijani President's, told Trend in an exclusive interview on 12 November.

"The Center with authorized in analysis of ongoing developments in the country, region and world, forecasting a mechanism of impacting them, respectively," Hassanov said. Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on the establishment of the Strategic Research Center and adopting its Charter on 12 November. The decree noted that development of Azerbaijan and its successful integration to the world economy in conditions of globalization requires strategic researches of state significance, analysis of socio-political situation, social inquiries, researches of strategic character, held by relevant organizations of the country.

The information resistance necessitates e large-scale programs, based on reliable scientific concepts so that to inform the world community about the truth of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Hassanov said that such centers exist in the developed countries a long and they take an active part in the internal and foreign policy.

"In the near future the Center will set up its activities and contribute in defining the priorities of Azerbaijan's internal and foreign policy on sphere cited above," official of the President's Administration said.
