Polling Stations Established at Russian Embassy in Azerbaijan for Parliamentary Elections to Elections

Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend S.Agayev / The Russian citizens who reside in Azerbaijan can vote during the Parliament elections on two poling stations in Baku and Gabala.

The parliamentary elections in Russia will be held on 2 December. In accordance with the law on Elections to State Duma [Parliament], Russian citizens have right to participate in elections, who reside, or out of Russia during the elections. Citizens who are residing, or will be in Azerbaijan on the elections day in Azerbaijan can participate in the elections"

These cities were not chosen accidentally. Main part of Russian citizens resides and work there, the Ambassador of Russia to Azerbaijan told Trend.

Mobile elections will be organized in Ganja, another Azerbaijani city. Boxes will be carried to city if there are desired to participate in the elections.

Russian citizens who have the right to participate in the elections should make an appeal to the commission by 1 December to get included in a list of voters, or make it orally in the day of elections.

To participate in the elections the voters should have one of the documents that confirming their Russian nationality, foreign passport, office passport, diplomatic passport, sailor passport and a certificate for return for return to Russia.
