Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Agayeva / Another meeting on the Azerbaijani-Georgian commission on delimitation will be held by the end of the year, Garib Mammadov, head of the State Commission on Land and Cartography, said in an interview with journalists on 20 November.
The Commission will discuss the materials developed by experts of both countries concerning delimitation and demarcation issues of State boundaries between Azerbaijan and Georgia. According to Mammadov, some 170km out of 470km of State boundaries have not been agreed.
Touching upon delimitation of the Azerbaijani-Russian boundaries, Mammadov said that about 95% of frontier lines have been agreed. The problem includes three areas, in Balakan, Su Govshagi and some areas of woodland.
Mammadov said that the Azerbaijani-Russian Commission on Delimitation and Demarcation of Boundaries will continue work over the disagreed areas in December.
