Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Ilhamgizi / The Committee on Protection of Journalists Rights which was established to protect the rights of arrested journalists in Azerbaijan, will appeal to President Ilham Aliyev, the Chairman of the Public Forum For Azerbaijan, Eldar Namazov, said to Trend Agency on 26 November. The appeal is made against the limit of human rights and freedom of speech.
The appeal includes protests against obstructions for political parties and public organizations to hold meetings and rallies, as well as to protest against cases of appeals which are addressed to the Baku Executive Administration and are responded by the deputy Executive Power.
The Committee is planning to hold a rally on Human Rights Protection Day on 8 December.
