Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend A Gasimova / If Yulia Timoshenko become the President of Ukraine, it will be catastrophe for the country, said Maxim Shevchenko, a popular television presenter, head of the Center for Strategic Researches of Religion and Policy of contemporary world.

"Timoshenko has big chances to become not only the Prime Minister, but also the President of Ukraine, and in this case Ukraine will face catastrophe," he said in telephone interview with Trend.

Timoshenko is a candidate to the post of Premier from the coalition of her faction and faction of the pro-Presidential bloc Our Ukraine - Popular Self-Defense".
