Chairman of Azerbaijani Opposition Party Hold Meetings in Washington

Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. I.Alizadeh / The chairman of the Azerbaijani opposition party discussed in Washington, issues concerning the settlement of conflicts in the South Caucasus.

The chairman of the Democratic Reforms Party, who is also a member of the Permanent Parliamentary Commission on International Relations and Antiparliamentary Relations Asim Mollazadeh held a range of meetings on his visit to the United States.

Within the framework of the visit to the United States, the chairman met with the leader of the Euro Asian Department of National Security Council, Maria Jermano, at the White Hose. The agenda included the Azerbaijani-American relations, the settlement of conflicts in South Caucasus and the functioning of parties.

Mollazadeh visited the United States by the invitation of the Azerbaijani-Turkish Businessmen Association, Hadson University and the United States and Central Asia Institute and Caucasian Jon Hopkins University.

Mollazadeh also met with a range of specialists of the United States National Security Department engaged in South Caucasus and Euro Asian issues. The key issue of the meeting was the recent development which took place in Azerbaijan and the Euro-Atlantic integration.

The Democratic Reform Party was founded in 2005.
