Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. К.Zarbaliyeva / The Azerbaijan and the Belarus Defense Ministries signed the bilateral cooperation plan for 2008. Azerbaijani Defense Ministry stated to trend agency that the Ministries of the both countries met before signing the document.
The document was signed by Safar Abiyev, the Azerbaijan Defense Minister and Leonid Meltsev, the Belarus Defense Minister. The document envisages the main directions in the cooperation between the Ministries of both the countries. The Belarus Defense Minister came to Azerbaijan on 17 December, after an invitation by the Defense Minister of Azerbaijan, for three days.
During the visit, the Belarus Minister will meet the Azerbaijan Prime Minister, the Speaker and the Industry Minister.
