‘Trend’ Cup to Make Its Contribution to Development of Intellectual Movement in Azerbaijan – Deputy Minister (video)

Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend K.Ramazanova / 'Trend' Cup will make its contribution to the development of intellectual movement amongst young people in Azerbaijan, said Azerbaijan's Deputy Minister of Youth and Sport, Intigam Babayev. "Such kinds of events are urgent and help intellectual development of Azerbaijani youths" he said.

On 6 January Trend Agency, in co-operation with Club of Intellectual Youths "Khazar" ("Caspian"), holds the final of the game "What? Where? When?". The contest is being attended by 30 teams.

According to Babayev, such events provide an opportunity to the Azerbaijanis young people to have a normal rest. "It is one of the kinds of productive and good rest," he said.

In addition, he said that conducting the game "What? Where? When?" in Azeri will enable to expand the borders of the intellectual movement and cover the regions of the Country. It needs to propagate it because it is possible to propagate the culture and history of Azerbaijan.

The Press Secretary of Azercell Company, Rufat Abbasov, said that conducting 'Trend' Cup is a very considerable event in the lives of the Azerbaijani youths. Azercell has always supported and will support the events that form intellectual movement of the Azerbaijani youths, he said.

The Department Head in Police Academy of Azerbaijan, Alishah Aliyev, said that such games provide an opportunity to expand world vision of the Azerbaijani youths and contacts between the educational institutions.
