Azerbaijan, Baku, 18 January / corr Trend I.Alizade / A total of 100 new BMW cars have been purchased for the employees of the traffic police of Azerbaijan.
Arastun Majidov, the spokesman for the Central Department of the State Traffic Police of the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry, said in an interview for Trend that the new cars will be given to the State Traffic Police Department of Baku and employees of the traffic police of several districts of the capital city.
So far, the BMW cars had been purchased for the City Traffic Police twice.
According to Majidov, there are no plans of providing the traffic police divisions of other regions of the county with the new cars.
On 18 Jan, the presentation of BMW cars was held at the Azadlyg square.
