Azerbaijan, Baku, 22 January / corr Trend S.Agayeva / The official visit of Gediminas Kirkilas, the Lithuanian Prime Minister, which was originally scheduled for the end of January, has been postponed.
Due to a situation which had arisen in Parliament regarding a new atomic station in Lithuanian, the Lithuanian Prime Minister postponed all his visits and meetings abroad which were scheduled for the end of January, Kudzmanas Kyastuis, the Lithuanian Ambassador to Azerbaijan, said.
The Lithuanian Prime Minister was to pay a visit to Azerbaijan on 28-29 January. During the meeting there were plans to discuss the cooperation of important trade and economy between the two countries, international and regional economic and transport projects, as well as energy cooperation.
In his discussion with the Azerbaijan Government, the Lithuanian Prime Minister stated that he will re-schedule his visit in due course.
