Azerbaijan, Baku, 23 January / Trend corr. D.Khatinoglu / The new resolution developed by the UN Security Council permanent members in Berlin will not stop the Iran's uranium enrichment plan. " Iran treated to the new resolution of UN depreciatingly again," Mehran Barati, the German expert, stated to Trend.

The meeting of countries in the 5+1 format, due to the Iran nuclear plan, was held in Berlin on 22 January. If they will come to a common opinion to pass a new resolution, then the first composition of the resolution would be softened. Berati stated in his telephone interview from Berlin that the 5+1 countries noted that Iran respects the sanctions imposed by UN Security Council in 2007. However, the points included in the first variant of the resolution were softened due to the differences. "The information that Iran did not develop the nuclear weapons, as spreaded in the report of the United States in November 2007, caused indecision of China and Russia concerning the imposing of new sanctions," he stated.

According to the expert, the economic sanctions against Iran would not be strengthened. "The reports by the economic informative centres of the United States demonstrate that Iran avoids the economic sanctions. So, the West is attempting to get the guarantee from Teheran for its nuclear activity and is trying to treat Iran softly. The 5+1 countries again demand from the Iran to stop its nuclear enrichment process," Berati added.

According to the German political scientist, the official Teheran considers that the United States is interested in the exchange of power in Iran. Therefore, until the military forces of the United States remains in the region, the conflicts on the nuclear issues of Iran will not calm.
