Azerbaijan, Baku, 23 January /corr. Trend S.Ilhamgizi / Azerbaijani Azadlyg bloc has its own conditions for the co-operation with opposition parties, before the presidential elections in Azerbaijan.
"Azadlyg bloc's co-operation with the opposition parties is possible, if the opposition demonstrates a single position in case of non-creation of the democratic election conditions," Ali Aliyev, the bloc's chairman, reported to Trend.
In October 2008, the Presidential elections will take place in Azerbaijan. Azadlyg bloc, combining three opposition parties, stated that it will boycott the presidential elections, if the democratic election conditions are not created. The opposition parties, Musavat, Umid, Great Establishment, highlighted their participation in the elections with their candidates.
According to Aliyev, if Azadlyg bloc does not participate in the elections, it is an indication of the absence of normal election conditions.
"In addition, we can not protest against those who are willing to attend the elections. It is, their own right. However, if the real opposition does not participate in the elections, it may describe the absence of conditions for political fight," Aliyev said.
Azadlyg bloc brings together three opposition parties, Azerbaijan Popular Front Party, Azerbaijan Liberal Party, Citizen and Development Party.
