Azerbaijan, Baku, 24 January / corr Trend R.Hafizoglu / Palestinian experts do not see any reason for tension in the border between Gaza and Egypt in the Israeli blockade, whereas Israel is keen to lower the number of missile attacks on their territory.

During the early hours of 23 January the activists of different Palestinian groups climbed over the concrete walls in the border between Gaza and Egypt. According to humanitarian organizations, in response to the blockade by Israel, 350,000 Gaza residents infiltrated Egypt for food and fuel.

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak ordered the security forces to allow the Palestinians from Gaza to travel to Sinay via the Rafiyah border safely at noon on 23 January.

"The Islamic resistance organization HAMAS, but not Israel is answerable for the last events which took place in Gaza," Fahmi al-Ziarir, spokesman for FATAH, said during a telephone interview from the Palestinian city Al-Khalil on 24 January.

"Thousands of innocent people died as a result of the blockade which was applied by Israel with respect to Gaza to put political pressure on HAMAS. This step by Israel contradicts international standards and willfully complicates the situation in the region," the expert said. Israel should lift the Gaza blockade so as to prevent the expansion of popular resistance from breaking out in Palestine.

Meanwhile, Isan Muhammad, the dean of the Islamic University of Gaza, pro-HAMAS political expert, said that only peace-loving people have suffered from the blockade of Israel. The firing of Israeli territory by HAMAS missiles is in reply to Israel's occupancy policy, held since 1947, Muhammad said during a telephone interview. "Actions by HAMAS, contrary to actions taken by the Israeli Army, are not directed against the occupation of a new territory, but in defense of the Palestinian people," the expert said.

Muhammad urged that Palestinians will fully benefit from the lifting of the Gaza blockade.

Gil Filer, an Israeli expert said that the Palestinians are now using the world media to demonstrate how they are suffering from the Gaza Sector blockade. "The majority of them understand that many world leaders are at the International Economic Forum in Davos and are keen to allow the world community to be aware of this, Filer, an expert of the Begin-Sadat Strategic Researches Center at the Bar-Ilan University of Israel, informed Trend.

Realizing the blockade of Gaza sector, Israel is pursuing several targets. " Israel is keen to show the Palestinians that it has no intention to tolerate any further the missile attacks on its territory. Maintaining the blockade of the Gaza Sector, Israel is attacking the terrorists from an economic point of view and attempts to decrease the number of missile attacks," Filer said.

Experts of the Begin Sadat Strategic Research Center declares that Israel is keen to demonstrate to Egypt Cairo indifference towards arms contraband by Palestinians leads to negative results at the end. Filer said that Israel makes Palestinians to select whether good neighborhood co-existence, or continuation of terror with respect to Israel, which resulted in the blockade of the Gaza Sector and the suffering of Palestinians
