Azerbaijan, Baku, 27 February / Trend corr. S.Ilhamgizi / Muasir Musavat Party has made a decision to stage a rally in Baku on 29 February, the party informed Trend .
An appeal has already been submitted to Baku Executive Power to sanction the rally -scheduled for 29 February. The party members have asked the Executive Power to allocate the area to stage their rally.
About 10,000 people are expected to participate in the rally.
The key target of the rally is to disclose the statement made by the opposition about shortcomings of democracy and freedom of speech in Azerbaijan. "We will stage the rally in the area which belongs to the Executive Power. If the Executive Power will not sanction the rally, we are planning to protest in front of the Power building," a spokesman from Muasir Musavat reported.
Party takes constructive position towards the authorities.
