Azerbaijan, Baku, 11 March / corr Trend E.Guliyev / On Tuesday morning [11 March] the Bulgarian President Georgiy Pirvanov arrived in the Azerbaijani Region of Shaki, located in 352km northwest of Baku. He is on a familiarization visit which will end this evening, Rafael Mejidov, the head of the public and political department of the Shaki District Executive Power, told Trend .
During his visit to Azerbaijan on 10 March, the Bulgarian President met with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev.
Mejidov said that Pirvanov became familiar with the Palace of Shaki Khans and other places of interest of ancient Nukha (Shaki), as well as tourist areas.
