Azerbaijan, Baku, 11 March / corr. trendNews S. Ilhamgizi/ The Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree to introduce a law on Geographical Names.
The Cabinet of Ministers is responsible to develop its proposals on the conformance of the Law to the current legislative acts for presentation to the President within one month.
According to the decree, the Cabinet of Ministers is assigned to approve the Article on Registration Rules stipulated by Item # 8.4 of the Law on Geographical names and Article on Rules of Compiling Government Catalogue and to report back to the President.
