Azerbaijan, Baku, 30 March / Trend corr. G.Jabiyev / The meeting of pro-governmental Democratic World of Azerbaijan party, initially scheduled for 1 April, was postponed, Mammad Alizade, chairman of the party, stated to Trend on 30 March.
Democratic World of Azerbaijan party was founded by Alizade. Party supports the political course of the government and has been represented in the Consultative Assembly of pro-governmental parties since 1998.
"The date for meeting of our main ally Yeni Azerbaijan party is not announced. Another reason for delay of the meeting is non-finishing of preparations for meeting," Aliyev said. The meeting will be held in the end of May.
The presidential elections will be held in Azerbaijan in October 2008.
