Azerbaijan, Baku, 2 April / Trend corr A. Gasimova/ The US President George Bush said that the offer made by the Russian President Vladimir Putin to jointly use Azerbaijan's Gabala radar station is good. Bush made the statement at the NATO Bucharest summit on 2 April.
"I am going to discuss with Vladimir Putin in Sochi the opportunity of cooperation on missile shield with Russia. We want Russia to realize that the missile shield system that we are going to create in the Czech Republic and Poland is intended not against the Russia, but for the protection of Russia, Europe and the United States," he said.
Bush also voiced his wish to constructively cooperate with Russia on this issue.
