France, Strasburg, 2 April /corr. Trend A.Maherremli / The Heads of the Parliaments of the Council of Europe participating countries will come together in Strasburg on 22-23 May, a source at PACE Secretariat reported to Trend .
In addition, the conference will be attended by the speakers of the Parliaments of the countries having status of observer at PACE, as well as chairmen of the international organizations - European Parliament and OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.
The conference will focus on the ways of ensuring active participation of the civil societies in the political life, strengthening the activities in the national and European scale which lean on the values such as democracy, human rights and pre-eminence of law.
Azerbaijan is expected to be represented at the conference by the Chairman of Parliament, Oktay Asadov.
