Romania, Bucharest, 3 April /corr. Trend Y.Aliyev / On 3 April, the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, met with his Latvian counterpart, Valdes Zatlers, within the NATO summit in Bucharest on 3 April.
It was stated during the meeting that political and economic relations continue between the two countries, the Press Secretary of Azerbaijan President, Azer Gasimov, briefed the media after the meeting. In addition, the sides highlighted the successfulness of the co-operation between the two countries within the international organizations.
In addition, the meeting especially highlighted Azerbaijan's role in ensuring energy security of Europe, Gasimov said.
