J.Babayeva / The deputy chairmen of Iskandar Hamidov, chairman of National Democratic Party of Azerbaijan (NDPA), who has resigned from his post, continue their activities in the political movement Way of Azerbaijan, Shamsaddin Rahimli, the deputy chairman of the movement, stated to Trend .
In April 2007, an agreement was signed between NDPA and Movement on cooperation. Rahimli, former first deputy chairman of NDPA, is at present the deputy chairman of Movement on organizational issue. According to Rahimli, Asif Hasanov, NDPA deputy chairman on organizational issues, and Suleyman Osmanoglu, deputy chairman on ideological issues, will continue their activity in the movement.
Hamidov, the chairman of (NDPA) offered his resignation during the latest meeting of NDPA Political Council.
According to Rahimli, the political activity of NDPA members in the movement means continuing of the work of two political organizations.
There is ally and good friendship relations between Ilgar Gasimov, chairman of Way of Azerbaijan movement, and Hamidov.

Isgandar Hamidov, a party member, was the Minister of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan of the Azerbaijan Popular Front Party government.
