Azerbaijan, Baku, 9 April /corr. Trend S.Agayeva / The First Lady of Latvia may visit Azerbaijan. The invitation by the First Lady of Azerbaijan, Mehriban Aliyeva, to attend the international conference on women's role in the inter-cultural dialogue was presented to the spouse of the Latvian President, a source at Latvia's Embassy in Azerbaijan reported to Trend on 9 April.
Supported by UNESCO and ISESCO, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation will hold an international conference in Baku on 10-11 June, dedicated to women's role in inter-cultural dialogue. The conference is envisaged to focus on new scientific and political paradigms, their adequacy with today's realities, challenges of globalization, issues of cultural identification, universality of the system of human values and problems of religious revival.
