Azerbaijan, Lankaran, 19 April / Trend corr. P.Aliyeva / Some 106 members of the Lankaran city organization of the Musavat party are planning to supervise over the elections in the region, Yadigar Sadigov, Chairman of the organization, stated Trend on 19 April.
The presidential elections will be held in Azerbaijan in October 2008.
Isa Gambar's candidature, Chairman of Musavat, was nominated to the presidential post during the meeting of the party in March.
According to Sadigov, the list of supervisors will be submitted to the Election Commission when their numbers will be approved.
There are four election commissions and 152 district election commissions in Lankaran.
Musavat's Lankaran city organization has more than 900 members, with 70 women.
Sadigov added that they would join the meeting by Musavat, which was scheduled for 4 May.
Lankaran region is located 270km south of Baku.
