Baku-Amman flight to Open

Azerbaijan, Baku, 21 April / corr Trend corr S.Agayeva / A new air flight Baku-Amman, which connects Azerbaijan and Jordan will be launched on 1 May.

This route will promote the increase of capital investing by Jordanian businessmen in Azerbaijani economy, increase the goods turnover between the two countries and the number of tourists, Elman Arasly, the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Jordan, told Trend on 21 April.

So far, the flights to Jordan were implemented through Istanbul, Turkey.

The airliners of the Jordanian national air company will carry out flights twice a week. Should the flights be profitable the parties will consider the possibility of increasing this. In future the additional flights will more likely be implemented through the airliner fleet of the Azerbaijani national air company AZAL, the ambassador said.
