Azerbaijan, Baku, 24 April / Trend corr. S.Agayeva / Valdis Zatlers, Latvian President, will pay an official visit to Azerbaijan. Elmar Mammadyarov, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister gave the official invitation of the Azerbaijani President to Maris Riekstins, Latvian Foreign Minister.
Mammadyarov invited other Latvian officials - Foreign Minister, Prime Minister and Latvian Parliament Speaker to pay visits to Baku.
Within the framework of visit of Azerbaijani Foreign Minister to Latvia, he held meetings with state officials and discussed the development of bilateral relations between the two countries. The sides reached to an agreement on strengthening the cooperation between the two countries in various spheres, such as economy and energy.
