Russian-Azerbaijani Borders Must be Determined through Mutual Concessions – Russian Parliament’s Speaker (video)
Azerbaijan, Baku, 13 May / Trend corr I. Alizade/ The chairman of the Russian Parliament Boris Grizlov believes that determination of the Russian-Azerbaijani borders must be held through mutual concessions. "Most part of the Russian-Azerbaijani borders has been determined and future determination must be held trough mutual concessions," Grizlov said in a press conference in Baku on 13 May.
About 90-95% of the Russian-Azerbaijani borders have been determined. Three borders remained uncoordinated.
On 13 May, Grizlov paid a one-day visit to Azerbaijan. He met with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Prime Minister Artur Rasizade and Speaker Ogtay Asadov.
Grizlov said that representatives of both countries' Parliaments must be involved into the determination process.
