Staff Changes in Azerbaijan’s Opposition Party
Azerbaijan, Baku, 14 May / Trend corr J. Babayeva/ Azerbaijan's opposition party Umid has experienced staff changes. The meeting of the party's administration on 13 May appointed new chairmen of the party's four departments, Umid reported.
Nargiz Nagiyeva was appointed the chairwoman of Umid's Department on Work with Women, Chapay Hasanov was appointed the chairman of the PR Department, Mahammad Ersoy was appointed the chairman of the Ideological Propaganda Department, Razi Abbasov was appointed the chairman of the Economic Policy Department.
Pro-opposition Umid party was established in 1993. In 2002, Umid merged with the National Unity Party. After the merging the chairman of the National Unity Party MP Igbal Agazade was elected the chairman of Umid.
