State Official Accused with False Document Acquisition Dismissed in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan, Nakhchivan, 23 May / Trend corr. E.Mammadov / The state official, accused of acquisition of false documents, was dismissed in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) of Azerbaijan.

According to the regional correspondent of Trend , the investigation operations, held by the employees of the National Security Department at the National Security Ministry of NAR, has revealed that Changiz Hasanov, Director of the Social Protection Department in Sharur region, acquired false diploma.

Three people engaged in development of false diplomas in NAR were jailed in end of March. Hikmat Aliyev, Chief of the Investigation Department of the Interior Ministry of NAR, stated to journalists that a group engaged in development of false documents was detained as a result of joint measures of the Ministry.

The medical institute Tabib, opened in 1991, had also been illegally functioning in NAR. The medical institute has issued 750 false diplomas on different medical positions without the state registration and permission of the State Commission on Student Admission until 2003.

Hasanov has acquired the false diploma of the economic faculty of Baku State University. Moreover, Hasanov took different positions with this false diploma.
