OSCE Chairman Pays Visit to Uzbekistan
Uzbekistan, Tashkent, 4 June / corr. Trend B. Abdullayev/ Alexander Stabb, the chairman of OSCE and foreign minister of Finland paid a visit to Tashkent within his official visit to the Central Asia countries.
The agenda of the visit includes meeting with the president, foreign minister and chairman of the Uzbek parliament. OSCE chairman is expected to discuss the fulfillment of the international commitments by organization's member states, human rights, security of borders, protection of environment, regional corporation and strengthening of stability in the region, said a source in OSCE office in Tashkent. Stabb plans to discuss Afghanistan-related problems as well.
Stabb's visit to Tashkent will end on 4 June.
