Azerbaijan, Baku, 9 June / Trend corr. S.Agayeva / There are no Azerbaijanis amongst the victims of the eqarthquake in Greece. 6.5magnitude earthquake occurred in Greece on 8 June. Two people died and 192 get sustained injuries. The earthquake occurred in the Peloponnese peninsula. No Azerbaijanis reside in this peninsula, the Azerbaijani Embassy in Greece reported on 9 June. Embassy has not received any information about any Azerbaijani victim. A lot of buildings and several strategic premises were damaged as a result of the earthquake. The residents do not want to go back into their apartments due the fear of earthquake repetition. Special tent city has been created for the victims. |
