Azerbaijan, Baku, 11 June / Trend / Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulation letter to Azerbaijani national writer Isa Huseynov. The letter says "I sincerely congratulate you, an outstanding representative of present-day Azerbaijani literature, on your 80th birthday. Your works, which are valuable patterns of our poetic art, profoundly contributed in development of literary and cultural heritage of Azerbaijan. Your fruitful pen activities, covering over a 60-year period, are an exceptional example of service for the sake of preservation and perpetuation of our rich literature."
President Aliyev noted that the films reflecting the life of Nizami Ganjavi, Imadaddin Nasimi and other great personalities, which were made by the scenario of Isa Huseynov, entered the treasury of Azerbaijani national cinema. President hoped for young generation to learn from Huseynov's art as an exemplary source based on national and spiritual values and moral standards.
