Azerbaijan, Baku, 17 June / Trend / On 17 June, Ilham Aliyev, the President of Azerbaijan, received the Chairman of the France-Azerbaijan Friendship Group Jean-Louis Dumont, and his accompanying delegation. |
Azerbaijani leader touched upon the subject of celebrations on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of Azerbaijan Parliament to be attended by the French delegation. The President said Azerbaijan had achieved a tremendous progress in all spheres. He expressed his confidence that the Friendship Group would spare no efforts to expand the cooperation.
Dumont said he had fruitful meetings here with economic, political and energy
bodies. He stressed that much work had been done here to develop the democracy.
Dumont highlighted the importance of his current visit to Azerbaijan.
