Azerbaijan, Baku, 18 June / Trend corr K. Zarbaliyeva/ An AzSamand taxi exploded in front of the Soros Foundation's Baku Office in the Narimanov District.
The explosion blew out the windows of the ground floor and entrance door of the Soros Office. Fortunately, no casualties were reported, as there was nobody on the ground floor at the time of incident.
According to Soros Baku Office, the driver of the taxi sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
Narimonov District Prosecutor's Office reported that the explosion took place in front of the building in Hasan Aliyev Street today at 1.30pm.
The incident occurred due to an explosion of a gas-cylinder in the boot of the car driven by Elman Valiyev.
The explosion blew out the windows of a car which was parked nearby.
Narimonov District Prosecutor's Office is investigating the case at present.
