Azerbaijan, Baku, 18 June / Trend / On 18 June, the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, received Speaker
of the Moldova Parliament Marian Lupu and his accompanying delegation.
Marian Lupu passed Moldovan President Vladimir Voronin's greetings on to Azerbaijani
Leader. Lupu congratulated President Aliyev on the 90th anniversary of the
Azerbaijan Parliament. Speaker said relationships between the two countries are
successfully developing.
The Head of State stressed Azerbaijan-Moldova bilateral relations are
successfully developing in all spheres. President Aliyev hailed the fact that
both countries support each other`s positions within international
organizations. The President said he is confident that interparliamentary ties
would continue to develop and bilateral relations would deepen even more.
President Ilham Aliyev asked Lupu to convey greetings to his Moldavian
counterpart Voronin.
