Activists of Azerbaijani Youth Movement Discuss Act of Terrorism in   Istanbul

Azerbaijan, Baku, 29 July/ Trend , corr J. Babayeva/ The activists of the Ireli all-republic youth movement of Azerbaijan have discussed the act of terrorism in Turkey.

On 28 July, two explosions took place in Istanbul at 9:45 p.m. with a difference of 10 minutes which killed 16 leaving 140 injured, the Turkish media reported.

A group of activists from the Movement assembled before the building of the Turkish Embassy in Baku and condemned the acts of terrorism against the civilians. The youth called on to join efforts of Azerbaijan and Turkey to fight terror.

The activists of Ireli put flowers at the fence of the Embassy and honored the memory of victims of the act of terror in Istanbul. The police attempted to hinder the protest action of the activists. At the moment, the Ambassador of Turkey to Azerbaijan Hulusi Kilij is receiving the members of Ireli.

Ireli Youth Movement was founded in August 2007 by the graduates and students of the higher schools of Azerbaijan. The membership of the Movement includes over 1,000 members and some 3,000 supporters.
