Georgia, Tbilisi, 25 August /corr. Trend N.Kirtskhalia / The Chairman of Georgian Parliament's Committee on International Relations Lala Jvania considers that recognizing the independence of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, Russia makes a step towards international isolation.

"This decision will bring problems to Russia itself because it will remain alone in the international arena," he said.

"With such actions, Moscow isolates itself and I do not think that it will remain alone. It is possible to count Cuba, Venezuela, Syria and Hezbollah together with Russia," Jvania said.

Today, the Council of Federation of Russia unanimously adopted the appeal to the President with regards to recognition of the independence of the separatist regions in Georgia.
