Rescue Work Going on to Save Passengers from Shipwreck in Turkey

Azerbaijan, Baku, 15 September/ Trend / Rescue work is going on to rescue passengers and crew of a shipped wrecked in the Sea of Marmara belonging to Marmara N Denizcilik company, CNN Turk TV channel reported.

Though rescue work is still continuing, five crew members out of 96 have not been saved yet, the statement by the Marine Department of Turkey said. Coastguard service, naval forces and local police are looking for drivers of four lorries who were on board of ship. There is no accurate information available about the other passengers of the ship, statement said. At the moment, rescuers are working on the plan to lift the wrecked ship.
