Greece to Pay More Attention to South Caucasus Conflicts during Chairmanship at OSCE: Ambassador

Azerbaijan, Baku, 3 October / Trend corr. N.Abdullayeva/ Greece intends to pay more attention to the conflicts in South Caucasus during its chairmanship at OSCE in 2009, newly appointed Greek Ambassador to Azerbaijan Ioannis Metaxas said at the meeting with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov.

Mammadyarov noted the importance of OSCE for settling of conflicts in the region and in restoration of stability in Azerbaijan and entire South Caucasus.

At the meeting discussed was enhancement of agreement legal basis between the two countries, development of bilateral relations, organization of joint business forum and the prospects for development of Greek companies' business in Azerbaijan.

Ambassador presented the copies of his credentials to the Minister.
