Azerbaijan, Baku, 8 October / corr. Trend J. Babayeva / The permission provided by Baku City Executive Power to the opposition Great Establishment Party to hold a meeting in Baku caused dissatisfaction of Muasir Musavat Party.
Muasir Musavat and Great Establishment parties appealed to Executive Power for holding a meeting in front of the Sevinj Cinema on 11 October in Baku. The Executive Power gave a positive response to the appeal of Great Establishment Party, but the Muasir Musavat Party was allowed to hold the meeting in the stadium in Bibi Eybat.
Hafiz Hajiyev, Chairman of Muasir Musavat Party said that he appealed to the lied to the Executive Power first.
їThe party considers the response of the Executive Power as dual approach to the presidential candidates. The permission for holding meeting in the same place the day earlier or later was not even indicated in reply letter,ї Hajiyev told Trend on 8 October.
The party refused to hold the mass action in the stadium in Bibi Eybat. їThere are not conditions for holding mass actions in this stadium,ї Hajiyev said.
Fazil Gazanfaroglu, the presidential candidate and chairman of Great Establishment Party, will hold the meeting in front of the Sevinj Cinema at 15:00 on 11 October.
